Side by Side Challenges 2008

The RFL and Leeds Metropolitan University are jointly organising the Side by Side Challenges to raise money for the RFL Benevolent Fund.

The aim is to raise £30,000 for this worthwhile charity. The first challenge involves walking the length of Hadrian's Wall, unfortunately this event is already fully subscribed although there are opportunities for volunteers to assist. The second event is the 'Yorkshire Three Peaks' which will take place on the 31st July 2008 and the aim is for 300 people to take part in this event. Participants will come from the entire Rugby League family. Supporters, members of the community game and partners of the sport will rub shoulders with ex players, members of the media and representatives from the professional game. This is an opportunity for everyone to come together to raise money for the RFL Benevolent Fund and to challenge themselves personally at the same time.
